Quality Work Environments for Hourly Workers explores employee and organizational benefits associated with a work environment that considers the work and family needs of workers employed hourly, front-line jobs.  The study is designed to examine: the effects of flexible work practices on hourly workers’ ability to manage work and family; the associated benefits of flexible work practices for hourly workers’ on business outcomes; and the management and supervisor strategies used to cultivate a flexible and responsive workplace for workers in hourly jobs.
